CranioSacral Therapy
“Practicing CranioSacral therapy makes me a better naturopathic doctor. It reminds me to go slow, listen deeply and trust that using the least amount of force can have the most profound effects.”
In my practice, I’ve seen CranioSacral therapy improve symptoms in those with…
Chronic migraines and headaches
Post-concussion syndrome
Insomnia
Anxiety + Chronic Stress
Depression
TMJ dysfunction + Jaw Pain
Vertigo
Neck Pain
Back Pain
Ehlers Danlos Syndrome
A long relationship with CranioSacral therapy
My mom became a massage therapist when I was a kid and trained with the Upledger Institute in the 1990’s to incorporate CranioSacral therapy into her practice. I grew up with this philosophy and care, though didn’t fully realized the impact it had on me until much later.
After a long hiatus, I received a CranioSacral session from a provider in Philly in my mid-20’s and felt like I was coming home to myself.
I resisted doing my own training in CranioSacral therapy while I was studying naturopathic medicine. Finally in my last year, I took the first course with the Upledger Institute and loved practicing with the patients at our student clinic. Over the next several years, I continued with the Upledger courses that broadened and deepened my skills to align with my patients and follow their lead in healing.
